Miss Ellis County and Ellis County's Outstanding Teen Scrapbook Memories 2006

The process for selecting your Group and number within each Group begins. Rebecca Robinson, Miss Longview is among the first few Miss contestants to make her selection on Friday night. The contestants who brought the most dresses in for “Caitlin’s Closet” were the ones who got to make their selection process first... all the way down through the contestants who brought in the fewest dresses.

As each contestant selects her Group and number, Molly writes her number in a corresponding colored tub to be used by each girl during the week of Miss and Teen Texas.

Miss Duncanville, Cassidy Arend, is also one of the contestants to pick her Group and number early in the selection process.

Faith Bates, Miss Hunt County is also one of the lucky contestants to be able to select her Group and number fairly early tonight.

Miss Teen Ellis County, Jennifer Fiedler selects Group “X”, position number 7 during the Teen selection process on Friday night.

Lana Thomas and Candice Bennet tied with the same number of dresses for “Caitlin’s Closet” and had to do a tie breaker as to who would select their position first.

Candice won the tie breaker, but Lana was still happy with her selection of Group “C”, position number 5 in the Group.

Miss Teen Duncanville, Sydney Capello gets to make her selection and she picked Teen Group “Z”, position number 8 within the Group.

The Miss list is finally complete and here is where your favorite Miss contestant will be competing during the week of Miss Texas in July.

And this is the completed Teen list and where your favorite Teen contestant will be competing during the week of Teen Texas.

The Friday meeting is finally over and everybody starts back to their hotel to get some sleep for a BIG day on Saturday. Thus begins the march of the different colored “Teletubbies” out the front door with Erin Hunt ~ Miss Carrollton, Regan Hunt ~ Teen Austin Area, and Brooks Dennard ~ Miss Frisco.

Here are two of my favorite “Teletubbies”, Cassidy Arend ~ Miss Duncanville and Sydney Capello ~ Teen Duncanville while a curious "Burleson Elk" looks over their shoulder to see what is going on in his school.

And finally, we find two more beautiful “Teletubbies”, Lana Thomas ~ Miss Ellis County and Jennifer Fiedler ~ Teen Ellis County as they leave Burleson High School.

As we get back to the Holiday Inn Express in Burleson, Felicia Fuller, the Miss Texas Producer, is just checking into the hotel. We are only staying at the hotel for two nights so I wonder how much “stuff” Felicia will bring to Miss Texas next July when we are there for 10 days. “Holy Suitcases” Batman… “That’s a BUNCH of stuff for two nights…”
