Miss Ellis County and Ellis County's Outstanding Teen Scrapbook Memories 2006

The 10th Annual DIFFA Toast To Life was held at the Women’s Museum in Fair Park to benefit the Resource Center of Dallas. Everyone received a very nice souvenir program book with the schedule of events and it also listed the hundreds of items in the silent and live auctions that were held during the evening.

The titleholders began to arrive at the Women’s Museum at Fair Park in Dallas for the 10^th Annual DIFFA “Toast To Life” fund raising event to benefit the Resource Center of Dallas. Our first arrivals are (l to r) Cassidy Arend ~ Miss Duncanville, Kristen Blair ~ Miss Fort Worth, Faith Bates ~ Miss Hunt County, and Rebecca Robinson ~ Miss Longview. It looks like it’s going to be a “blue” night tonight to include some matching dresses.

We are even going to use Star Wars light sabers tonight to help alert the auctioneer of incoming bids for some nice items to be auctioned off at tonight’s event. As you can see, Faith thinks the light sabers are “REALLY COOL”!!!

Our four beautiful titleholders pause or a quick picture before receiving their final instruction as to what they are supposed to do at tonight’s function.

As they work their way around the floor they stop to admire some of the art work for sale tonight and try to figure out what the artist is trying to tell everybody with their painting.

Kristen and Cassidy find the Starbucks vendor and just have to have a cup of java.

Mss Dallas, Corin Harmon finally arrives after making her way thru some terrible traffic this evening. Hmmm…. Different colors, but two more matching dresses. Do you suppose all the girls called each other and coordinated this wardrobe “look-a-like” event?

Outside by the entrance to this event that had “VERY TALL” jugglers…

And even a ”fire eater” to impress the guest. I wonder what kind of dental insurance plan he has?

I’m sure this is supposed to represent something, but I‘m not sure what… Maybe it’s a DISH Network advertisement?

LOOK!!! Up on the stairs… It’s Faith and Corin with their partners for the evening…

Corin!!! What are you eating? Don’t worry, it will only take a couple of extra miles of jogging to run it off, but it sure was tasty.
