Cassidy arrived at Lyndon B. Johnson Elementary School in Grand Prairie where one of her Lone Star Princesses, Emily attends school.

Cassidy get the opportunity to speak to about a hundred 5th grade students about believing in your dreams and becoming whatever you want to be.
She starts out by asking everybody what they would like to be when they graduate from school.
In her bag of tricks she pulls out a dog and asks who wants to be a veterinarian and several children raised their hands so she passed the dog to one of them?
She then asked all the students who wanted to be a Dallas Cowboy football player and again, several students raised their hands and she passed the football helmet to one of the students.
Cassidy passed out a ballerina’s skirt, a crown, a construction worker’s helmet, a microphone, a toothbrush, and several other items to the children asking them each time who would like to be a ballerina, a construction worker, a singer, a dentist and several other professions before telling them that all of them that they could be whatever they wanted to be if they stayed in school and studied hard.
Cassidy then had all the students pass the articles that she handed out around the room to other students until she said to stop and explained that any one of you can be whatever you want to be even if you started out to be something else in life.
She did an excellent job of explaining to the students if you have a dream, then to live that dream and become whatever your heart desires.
The students asked Cassidy what she wanted to be and she told them a Geologist who works for NASA. She just happened to have her favorite rock that came from a volcano that she showed to them and then passed it around the room.
After the question and answer session Cassidy introduced Emily, one of her Lone Stat Princesses to all the students and told them about their week at Miss Texas in July.
The student had a lot of questions about Miss Texas and Cassidy and Emily did a great job answering all of them.
Tonia Walker, the principal of LBJ Elementary presents Cassidy with a gift for coming and speaking with all the 5th grade classes today.
We get a great picture of Cassidy, Ms. Walker and Emily.
Before we all leave, Emily has a gift for all of the students to support another one of Cassidy’s programs on recycling and pollution. She made little stickers that said “Don’t be an airhead and pollute” attached to a piece of candy named “Air Heads”. Very cute Emily…  GREAT JOB!!!
And our BIG class picture with Cassidy and Emily. I apologize as I probably did not get everybody in the picture, but I as “up against the wall”…
After everybody left, Cassidy and Emily exchanged Valentine Day gifts. Thanks for inviting us to your school today Emily…
