The Miss East Texas and Lake of the Pines Pageant was held at Mabank High School with their special guest emcee, Lisa Dalzell-Spooner, Miss Texas 2002.
Abigail Eden did an outstanding job with her song during the Talent portion f the competition.
As did Sheena Simmons with her dance routine. 
 During the intermission I caught Cassidy out in the hall with Lisa and Ashley Melnick, Miss Southlake 2008 and Heather Henrichson, Teen Southlake 2008.
Cassidy with Robert Jenkins who is one of the jacket designers and fund raisers for DIFFA during the year. 
There were several 2008 titleholders at the Miss East Texas/LOP Pageant including (l to r) Madison Fuller ~ Teen Huntsville 2008, Rebecca Robinson ~ Miss Longview, Faith Bates ~ Miss Hunt County, and Cassidy Arend ~ Miss Duncanville.      
Miss Southlake, Ashley Melnick performed after all the competition while the auditors tallied the scores from the pageant. 
They even had a Belly Dancer perform after the competition.
All of the visiting 2008 titleholders introduced themselves on stage while waiting for the announcement of the results. Pictured on-stage (l to r) are Cassidy Arend ~ Miss Duncanville, Faith Bates ~ Miss Hunt County, Ashley Melnick ~ Miss Southlake, Heather Henrichson ~ Teen Southlake, Morgan Berger ~ Teen Longview, Morgan Fuller ~ Teen Lake of the Pines, Madison Fuller ~ Teen Huntsville, Rebecca Robinson ~ Miss Longview, and Lisa Dalzell-Spooner ~ Miss Texas 2002.

And your new Miss Lake of the Pines for2008 is contestant number 7, Abigail Eden.
And the new Miss East Texas for 2008 is contestant number 9, Sheena Simmons. 
Congratulations Sheena…
