Miss Ellis County and Ellis County's Outstanding Teen Scrapbook Memories 2006

Another young lad comes into the playroom where the girls are and they immediately give all their attention to him. He even gets the new frog that he wanted.

A picture is worth a thousand words as the titleholders bring some cheer into this young man’s life.

Rachel and Candice find an old “Starship” video game and try their hand at it to see if they can beat the high score.

Lana and Kaitlyn are admiring this patients painting and they start a wonderful conversation after few minutes at the table with her.

As we leave the playroom we pause for a quick picture under the “Radio Lollipop” in-hospital radio station where all the patients can call in and make special request or eve visit the studio and be on the radio with the DJs.

The radio station even has a “private entrance” for some of the smaller patients who visit the station. Pretty Cool!!

As we all head back down to the first floor on the elevator, we find that our busy day is not quite over at the hospital. SMILE Lana and Callie…

Back on the first floor in the hospital lobby, Lana, Danni, and Cassie find another admiring young lady who would like an autographed picture of the titleholders.

And look who else we find down in the lobby… This is the young lad from the 10^th floor who said that all of these girls were his new girlfriends. “HOLY BATMAN… He’s back”…

“Hey girls…. LOOK…. These are my new Batman muscles.” “What do you think of them?” All the girls were very impressed to say the least.

Remember that little girl that wanted the autograph pictures of the titleholders, well she also decided that she wanted her picture made with Ali and Lana. OK… We can do that too.

Callie finds one more little girl that needed a special white teddy bear.

And one more picture of Lana and Ali with the little girl in the pink outfit.

This young lad was collecting autograph pictures and wanted Lana’s picture first.

It’s not often in Texas that you get to have your picture made with a Zebra, so Cassie, Callie, Alicia, Lana, Kaitlyn, and Dani make the most of the opportunity.

Before we leave Texas Children’s Hospital to go eat lunch at Pappasito’s, that young lad that got Lana’s autograph picture just had to have Callie’s picture too.

Most of the group arrived at Pappasito’s Mexican Restaurant starving for some lunch. Six of out ten titleholders were able to come with us and they are all ready to eat.

Lana, Cassie, and Callie are looking as pretty as ever, just as all the titleholders did today.

When you eat at Pappasito’s you ALWAYS get MORE than you can possibly eat, but we wanted to make sure that everybody was full before we started back home and put Lana on a plane back to Austin. Please don’t worry… The girls only ate a small portion of what you see in front of them. Holy Cow Batman… Even I couldn’t eat all of that. A VERY BIG THANK YOU to all the titleholders, Moms and Dads that helped Callie make this a VERY SPECIAL day at Texas Children’s Hospital for some pretty sick kiddos. ALL OF YOU WERE GREAT!!!
