Miss Ellis County and Ellis County's Outstanding Teen Scrapbook Memories 2006

We had a special invitation from our beautiful Teen Texas, Callie Thompson to come visit with the children at the Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston on January 3^rd. Ten beautiful and talented Miss and Teen titleholders accepted Callie’s invitation for this worthwhile event. Before we start our trip to floors 8, 9, 10 and 11 we all have to receive special instructions about what to do and not do in the children’s rooms and what not to say to them.

Callie went out and collected 8-9 huge trash bags filled with hundreds of stuffed animals that would to be given to children that we will visit today. WAY TO GO CALLIE!!!

Callie finds a little fan in the lobby before we head upstairs and has to have her picture made with her.

Kaitlyn, Cassie, Callie and Adrianna are ready to head up to the children’s room to spread some much needed cheer.

And we are off to the elevators with four huge carts piled high with stuffed animals for the kiddos.

Callie and Lana can’t wait o get upstairs to see all the children and put some much needed smile on some faces.

OK… Everybody made the trip on the elevators and they are ready to start “Operation Teddy Bear”. GO GIRLS…

One of our first stops on the 9^th floor awaited us in the hall with her Mom. The beautiful little girl was obviously restless and could not get comfortable until Callie presented her with a HUGE pink, soft, cuddly bunny that seemed to calm her right down.

At out next room we found a young lady that loved frogs, so that’s what the titleholders found for her.

This was just too cute of a shot to pass up… Lookin’ good ladies…

This young man was very happy to see all the cute girls at first and even got a Scooby Doo for his new friend.

But soon it was too much exposure for him and he and Scooby retreated under his Spiderman Blanket.

This young lady had all the titleholders spellbound with her knowledge of the computer.

They must have stayed in this room for 10 minutes talking to her as she “entertained” all of them.
