On Friday night, December 07, Cassidy and Sydney meet us at the Duncanville City Hall for the Duncanville Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony. A BIG Thank You to Chad Shelton at Urban Nissan in Duncanville for giving us a brand new Nissan 350Z convertible for Cassidy and Sydney to ride in for the parade.
While waiting for the parade to start, we met two people from Red Oak who were going to be “Skating Elf’s” in the parade. From far away the actually looked like skating Christmas Trees. The flashing lights that they had all over their costumes were actually MANY sets of flashing earrings. COOL…  Their helmets and pads were under their costumes.
OK… I think we are ready to get started as Cassidy and Sydney get settled for the 3 mile parade. Looking really nice ladies…
Some of Duncanville’s finest firefighters were the Honor Guard for tonight’s parade.
The firefighters even had a nice banner to wish everybody a “Merry Christmas”.

And a really cute talking fire hydrant from the “North Pole Fire Department”.
Hey… It’s our skating elf friends again that just happened to be right in from of Cassidy and Sydney in the parade. They also won an award for “The Best Use of Lights”.
Anybody recognize these cute titleholders and that handsome “daredevil” driver with a Santa cap on his head?
OK Ladies… Time to smile and wave for the camera… At this point we were almost out of candy to throw to the children young and old.
We actually had to put Sydney on the back of the car because the 350Z has a small glass window between the head rest on the back of the car where Sydney was supposed to sit. As a titleholder you have to “adapt and overcome” every situation that you are presented with during the year.
HEY PEOPLE… IS THAT SANTA ON THE BACK OF THAT FIRE TRUCK??
YES, YES…. IT IS… I DO BELIEVE… I DO BELIEVE…
As soon as the parade was over we all headed back to the Duncanville City Hall where Cassidy and Sydney were going to entertain. Sydney and Cassidy also got to meet the mayor of Duncanville, David Green right after the official Christmas tree lighting ceremony.
