Cassidy, Jennifer and her parents, Sherry and I have
the HONOR of celebrating Veteran’s Day at the First
Baptist Church of Hamilton Park in Richardson, Texas
with Shilah Phillips, Miss Texas 2006, Kristen
Blair, Miss Fort Worth 2008 and several veterans
from WW II, Korea, Viet Nam, The Gulf War,
Afghanistan and Iraq.

the services started on Sunday morning. |

At the beginning of the “A Salute To Our Veterans”
celebration at the church, Shilah opens with the
”Star Spangled Banner” for the service men and women
in the audience. |

Shilah did an awesome job singing his morning during
the services. |
 |
|
Cassidy had the honor of reading Governor Rick Perry’s
Veteran’s Day Proclamation to all the veterans
present at the services today. Molly Hazlett, Miss
Texas 2007 was supposed to be at the services this
morning , but had another engagement so Cassidy was
selected to read in her place.

|
Veteran’s from every service and every conflict were
present in the church this morning and these are the
ones chosen to represent all of the visiting
veterans. |
 |
|
Jennifer is selected to present the Proclamation from
Governor Rick Perry to the pastors of the church. |
 |
|
Kristen has the honor of reading the Governor’s
Proclamation to the member of the church and the
visiting veterans. |
 |
