The time has come to start
another new pageant year for Ellis County so we begin on
an early Sunday morning in October by preparing the sets
and decorating for the 2008 pageant at Dawson
Auditorium. |
 |
|
While all the preparation is
being done for the pageant, some of the Teen and Miss
contestants rehearse their talent on stage before
getting ready for Interview. |
 |
|
Faith brings in the first
half of the Miss contestants who are ready to start
their Interview. Pictured (l to r) are Lana Luise

Up in the lobby of the
auditorium everything is being set up for the pageant
including a table that includes some of Faith's and
Kelly's memorabilia from the past year. Sherry and I
should buy some stock in Build-A-Bear. |
 |
|
Meanwhile back outside the
Interview rooms some last minute preparation is taking
place. |
 |
|
Its time for our Teen Ellis
County 2007, Kelly Dillard to bring the Teen contestants
in to begin their Interviews. Pictured (l to r) are

It looks like Lana has
brought her own little "Cheering Section" from Marble
Falls. Actually, these are some of Lana's Lone Star
Princesses from last year. Thanks for coming to support
your favorite contestant ladies. |

Sherry and I decide to give
Faith and Kelly their farewell gifts before the pageant
starts so they don't get misplaced during all excitement
of the pageant. |
 |
|
Faith and Kelly each
received a silver charm bracelet with a charm
representing most of the events and appearances that
they attended this year as Miss and Teen Ellis County. I
think they were surprised... |
 |
|
They also received a DVD
with the Ellis County Home Page Web Site and the entire
Scrapbook Section that contained over 4,500
pictures from all their activities during the past year.
