The Miss Texas Scholarship Pageant
Lone Star Princess Program is for young ladies ages six to
twelve by the time the Miss Texas Pageant takes place. The
purpose of the program is for the local Miss
Texas titleholders to mentor to those young ladies who may
have an interest in competing someday in the Miss Texas
Scholarship Pageant and promoting community service. The
Princesses will have the opportunity, as provided by the
local pageant director and local title holders to be a
part of the titleholder's year.
The big event is that each Princess
will be a part of a Production Number during the Miss
Texas Scholarship Pageant in July in Ft. Worth, TX at the
Will Rogers Memorial Center Auditorium. They also will
take part in the Evening Gown competition for both the
Miss and Teen titleholder that she is representing during
the year on the Miss Texas competition stage.
Each Princess
will receive an official crown, an official t-shirt, and
tickets to the Miss Texas Pageant for herself and her
chaperone. The 2008 season will bring a total of 8 Lone
Star Princesses to Ellis County with 4 being mentored by
our Miss Ellis County and 4 mentored by our Ellis County's
Outstanding Teen.
Applications
are accepted on a first come, first serve basis and those
who pay their registration fee first, will receive their
crown and begin their involvement at that time. For more

director Sherry or Jim Hanson at
